Gordie and Janice welcome you to their self-contained, luxurious bed and breakfast suites on beautiful Long Lake in Nanaimo, BC. They have hosted people from around the world including international students from Japan, Korea, and China attending Vancouver Island University.

We have stayed in many B&B's over the years and our wish is for you to enjoy the experience of staying at a B&B that offers exemplary customer service and one that creates wonderful memories. We have always enjoyed meeting other people and creating new friendships. Our return guests and reviews are a testament to those memories.

Each suite has a view of the lake, king or queen size bed, air-conditioning, fridge and ensuite with shower and/or Jacuzzi
Breakfast is included and is served in the guest lounge with fresh fruit, yogurt, refreshments and a hot entrée
Common guest lounge has games, microwave and private outside entrance to deck
All suites and the common lounge are on separate floors from the private residence
Complimentary wireless internet access, computer kiosk, and reading material
Common waterfront area has hot tub, cooking fire pit, swimming access
Common dock area has a canoe, kayaks and pedal boat
The lake offers good fishing for bass and trout
Major shopping centers and fine restaurants are close by
We are float plane accessible to our dock

Nautical Adventure Package for $599

Your Adventure begins at the Long Lake B&B for 2 nights. After your romantic stay in self contained suite, a healthy breakfast will prepare you for a 4 hour crabbing/ fishing/tour of Nanaimo waters with Screaming Fish and Fly Charters. Your captain will take you to the Dinghy Dock Pub & Restaurant for a great gift certificate dinner. You return to Nanaimo on their Protection Island Ferry to relax in our hot tub with a bottle of wine.
